Hobby

I have a new hobby. I have started sewing clothes! Thanks to my friend Carrie who graciously walked me through every step of putting together a longall. She helped me with the blue on the right and then I tackled the red one on my own. Success! (she also did the appliques) It isn't too hard to sew clothes as long as you can read a pattern. Which I could not until Carrie helped me. These longalls turned out pretty cute I think and are just as well made as you would buy in the store because they are lined.

Now I have to think of some new fabrics for later winter and I want to make a few in the short all version for next summer. For boys, this about it as far as "cute" clothing goes!

We just got back from the beach so I will do a post on that. I didn't take many pictures at all because Will stayed in the condo most of the time napping with the grandparents who were all too happy to stay in and watch him! This allowed for T and I to enjoy beach time and even a nice dinner date night out to Marina Cafe. More to come later.

I'm amazed by you and Ashley and your talent!! Those are cute, and I can envision a cute one in courdoroy! Joey would be ok with those especially in something like courdoroy, he usually doesn't go for "sewn" clothes for boys, but those are cute and masculine!

Glad I could help :-) They look great, and Will of course couldn't be any cuter no matter what clothes he has on! Thank you again for keeping C-man for me today!
